Kathryn Strachan’s Biography

Kathryn Strachan is the award-winning founder and CEO of CopyHouse – a global content marketing agency working with some of the largest tech brands.

From the outset, Kathryn made it clear that she wasn’t content with following the traditional playbook. She has a penchant for breaking barriers and challenging norms wherever she finds them. Within the first three years, CopyHouse had achieved an impressive £1.5 million turnover with Kathryn as the driving force (something only 3% of agencies achieve).

Kathryn’s influence doesn’t end with her agency’s success. She has become an essential voice in the marketing and technology fields, known for her engaging talks and public appearances at events like The CMA Summit, MoneyLive, Money2020, Semrush Global Marketing Day, and across more than 100 podcast interviews. Her insights, both enlightening and inspiring, reach professionals across various career stages.

She also hosts her own podcast show, Tech Marketers Uncorked featuring top marketing leaders from Accenture, 11:FS, Meta, etc. and judges influential awards programs like The Drum, BIMA100 and The Independent Agency Awards. She has been named Content Marketing Person of the Year twice by the CMA and been recognised for her business acumen by The Drum and IoD.

When not overseeing CopyHouse, Kathryn serves as a non-executive director on The NHS Counter Fraud Authority and The Alliance of Independent Agencies. She also advises other companies on their marketing and growth strategies as a fractional marketing director.
